What is in a name?
Origin of the Dimarx Name
The Dimarx name came about from my connection to family, including the initials of all my children in the name:
D – represents my eldest son Dion
I – represents my daughter Imogen
X – representing my youngest son Xavier
All wrapped around my name
As a first nations business, we recognise and celebrate our heritage.
Our mob, the Kureinji peoples travelled down through the centre of Australia and through South Australia, finding the Murray River, we followed the river until we settled in Southern NSW, across the river from the town now known as Mildura.

Our founder’s journey began in 1998 when he relocated from Mildura to Bendigo to pursue a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at La Trobe University.
With over two decades of executive experience across manufacturing, agriculture, horticulture, government, and non-profit sectors, our founder has developed high level skills, tools, and techniques that drive success across diverse industries.
He continued to expand his expertise over this time, completing the following qualifications:
– Diploma of Education (Secondary Teaching)
– Certified Practising Accountant (CPA)
– Company Directors (GAICD)
– Business Growth Program (University of SA)
– Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Deakin University)
